SMC 2.4 GHz Power Injector

The SMCAMP-INJ is an IEEE 802.3af Power Injector that provides power to the SMCAMP-250 Amplifier using a standard Category 5 cable. The SMCAMP-INJ delivers power to the Amplifier at a distance up to 100 m (328 feet), while requiring access to only a standard 12 V power source and a Category 5 connection to the network (such as via a hub or switch). In this way, the SMCAMP-INJ reduces installation cost, as a dedicated power outlet is not necessary to be near where the SMCAMP-250 Amplifier is installed.
